extra ordinary is a shop, blog, portfolio of some sort, way to contact me & probably more.

Since I was young, I knew I wanted to be involved in the creatives in some capacity. It wasn’t until my recent years that I decided on how. After undergrad and most of grad school, I finally figured out what direction I wanted to go in - graphic design. I was the kid who excelled in art class since kindergarten and doodled my way through high school and college. Now that I’m writing this, it sounds kind of funny that it took me so long to figure out. Problem here was that I had no actual training. This explains why I went back to school to get some formal training in all things graphic design.

Along comes extra ordinary. extra ordinary is small business that combines my extensive years of business school and my eventual formal training within the graphic design realm. On extra ordinary, you will find prints, stickers, services ready to be used & more.

I named this business extra ordinary for a couple of reasons. First of all, I really wanted something that represented my name. My first name starts with an ‘E’ and my last name starts with an ‘O.’

If it seems like the math ain’t mathin’ because ‘extra ordinary’ is typically one word then you would be right. But here comes the twist. I kept the two words separate because from the outside I seem like an extra *space* ordinary person. And I pretty much am. But, I also do a lot of extraordinary things and I think that needs to be recognized. Not just for me, but for a lot of people out there.

So, extra ordinary is here for the people who are extra ordinary, but do extraordinary things. I want us to shop together, blog together, create together. I want you to resonate with the products I am putting out. I want you to reach out if you needs invitations, cards, logo design, illustrations, you name it done. I want this to be a space where we can all feel comfortable with the extra ordinary lives we are creating & also insanely proud of the extraordinary things we are doing.

Welcome.
