love your space
I have always been a firm believer of this.
Way back when, when I was in grade school and high school, my mom says that I was never able to do my homework until my room was clean. This certainly carried into college and now my adult life. It sounds crazy, but I am truly not able to do my work until my space is clean.
I don’t know how or why this started. I think it was more of just an instinct. Something about a good, clean, fresh space just fuels my mind.
As I grew older and started experiencing more freedom, this desire for a clean space merged into the desire for a space that expresses who I am. A space that I love. A space that is mine.
Creating a space that I love has completely fueled my mind. When I look up and I see my designs, my sketches, my plants, photos of my friends and family, I feel ready to work. I feel inspired and like ideas are flowing.
This is my sign to you to create a space that you love. Even if you are not a creator, this is your home. This is where you go to relax, to gather, to live. Make this space YOU no matter what your style is.
